'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Tips and Tricks: How to Score 50,000 Damage With Ease
The "Dragon Ball" series is arguably one of the most successful manga-turned-anime series, spanning generations of stories while amassing an enormous fan base behind it. As such, its latest game version, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," is also drawing attention, and a new raid event is happening this weekend.
In Bandai Namco Entertainment's official website, details of the upcoming raid have been laid out. Dr. Gero's infamous Android 17 is going to be the opponent and these are the rewards: 1) Participation Reward: Hercule Badge Common; 2) 5,000 Damage Done: Nickname — "Red Ribbon Army"; 3) 5,000 Damage Done: Set of Super Android 17 Costume and Nickname — "Delightful"; 4) 30,000 Damage Done: Super Soul "Now it's my turn!"; and 5) 50,000 Damage Done: 50 TP Medals.
Given the steep price in order to obtain the 50 TP Medals and a limited time, it will be tricky to dish as much damage. Fortunately, YouTube host Lu Bu Feng Xian has shared a video of how to do it, specifically with a certain character.
In the video, he had a female Earthling character which would have an augmented strength with blasters. Couple that with multi-hit techniques in close-range and it means a near no-miss damage. The video suggests to use the technique against bigger enemies, which is why closing in is important against a normal-sized opponent. Moreover, inflicting poison would also increase the damage inflicted, helping to bring down the enemy.
It is important to note, however, that this trick doesn't instantly produce 50,000 damage in one round. It has to be done multiple times to amass the required amount of damage, although this is possibly one of the quickest ways to do it.
Being a new raid event, there are some players who think that the current one is not on par with previous ones. In a Reddit discussion, there are some who speculate that this is because the developers are focusing more on dowloadable contents (DLCs). Either way, this is going to be an event that's not to be missed.
The Android 17 Raid Event for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" starts Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. EST.
