This is where the hero will raise buildings and try to level up. Every time he levels up, he will unlock new recipes for creating new items such as storage chests and sign posts. This will in turn help him further develop the town.

Players can look forward to doing more than just building basic structures because the source cited that players will be able to gain extra experience if they customize the interior of each building. Each experience gained can be utilized to discover new recipes and learning how to make other items for the town.

Villagers that the protagonist will encounter along the journey also help in the progress of building. Other than inhabiting the developed town, they will be giving out requests to the protagonist. Each completed request will grant different rewards. The villagers also help in fighting off monsters that try to invade the town.

"Dragon Quest Builders" will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Vita on Jan. 28, 2016. It will hit Japanese stores first. There's no schedule yet on when it will be released in North America.
