'Dragon Quest Heroes' will come with free DLC on-disc
The Japan-based video game "Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below" is going to be available in North America and Europe soon. But the highlight of it all is the Japanese DLC episodes that will be included on-disc for free, as reported by PlayStation Lifestyle.
Those who have been looking forward to playing the game but lives outside of Japan can now join in on the fun as the wait for the game will be over very soon. Square Enix made sure that the wait is worth it because they will be bringing a whole bunch of DLC episodes that will really allow players to enjoy and even revel in with new costumes and additional playable characters.
Square Enix divulged the details on how the DLC episodes will be unlocked. First, the player must complete the main story up to a certain level and will need to pass a few conditions. There will be a post office in the game which will give players letters containing requests for help or even challenges. Successfully accomplishing each will bring awesome rewards.
And for those who are asking for more scoops about the latest DLC, Square Enix has revealed in their blog what's inside the bonus content. Included is Alena's episode wherein she will be joining a competition for the Colissea Cup. If the gamer is able to successfully complete the game, Alena's original "Dragon Quest IV" outfit will be unlocked. Aside from that, outfits for Tsarevna and Kiryl and some rare accessories will be made available.
The DLC will also let players recruit the Manslayer Psaro from "Dragon Quest IV" if they are able to beat him. And for some real challenge with a high level of difficulty, an episode will feature a Nokturnus Boss Battle. Apparently, Nokturnus is the hardest boss in "Dragon Quest IV." Another boss that players will face is Bjorn the Behemoose, the biggest boss, as well as Zoma, the final boss of "Dragon Quest III."
No doubt the game has a lot in store for its fans. "Dragon Quest Heroes" is being developed exclusively for PlayStation 4 and is scheduled to debut on Oct. 13 in the U.S. and Oct. 16 in Europe.
