'Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen' for Steam: Release Date, Trailer, and Specs Revealed
After more than a couple of years, "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" will finally be playable on Windows PC via Steam. Capcom has revealed the game's release date and specifications, along with a new trailer (below) recently.
On Thursday, Dec. 17, Capcom announced in a blog post at its official site that "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" can be pre-ordered on Steam now.
The pre-order includes an art book that will be available digitally upon release. The digital art book features more than 300 pages of content. It is basically a compilation of key art, concept art, sketches, and more. This includes artwork for characters, creatures, weapons, and lore plus comments from their creators. The artbook is valued at $14.99 but is available for free with the pre-order.
Another pre-order freebie is the game's soundtrack, which includes 53 songs. Again, both pre-order bonuses will be available upon the game's release.
The PC version of the game will include the following exclusive features:
- 9 brand-new Achievements
- Option to completely mute main and support Pawn chatter during traversal
- Plug & Play controllers: supports XInput and DirectInput-based controllers such as the Xbox 360, Xbox One, DualShock, and Steam Controller right out of the box (no 3rd-party 'XInput remapper' app required)
- Uses source texture assets that couldn't be utilized in previous generation consoles due to memory constraints
- All previously released DLCs and bonus content now built into the base game including the Eternal Ferrystone
- Full screen display on 16:9 wide-screen aspect ratio monitors
- Supports 30, 60, and "Variable" frame rate settings
- Supports 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160)
- Supports 144Hz monitors to enable 144fps gameplay
- Remappable keyboard and mouse functions
- Customizable hot keys (0-5) to allow quick access to commonly used items such as lantern, healing/stamina recovery items, and Ferrystones.
- Streamlines gameplay in the heat of battle without the need to pause the game

- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Radeon HD 5870 or equivalent
- DirectX: Version 9.0c
- Storage: 22 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX-compatible sound card or onboard audio chip
Capcom recommends the following specifications for players to enjoy an all-out performance from the game:

"Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" arrives in Windows PC on Jan. 15, 2016. The game can be pre-ordered on Steam now for $29.99.
