'Dream Festival! R' Episode 6 Spoilers: Twins Chizuru and Yuzuru to Take Center Stage Together?

DearDream's Chizuru may be in for one of the toughest challenges of his idol career on the next episode of the Japanese anime series, "Dream Festival! R." Someone has suggested forming an idol duo, and it seems that he and his older twin brother, Yuzuru, may be the ones involved.

Last week's episode focused on another DearDream member, Shin, and how tries to keep a good balance going between his idol life and reality. But then, there are also those instances when an idol has to take "away" jobs like acting in a drama or coming as a guest to a variety show on his own.

It was these instances, along with the unique pressures they bring to him, that initially put a burden on Shin's psyche. Fans thought it was a good thing that Junya, his co-member, stepped in when he did to help pull Shin out of his funk, and thus regain renewed passion for his dramatic role.

The two of them ended up working well together in the said drama and even gained positive praise online. They even formed a temporary sub-unit with just the two of them and performed on stage much to their fans' delight.

Moreover, their success has also fired Kanade's determination to keep doing his best so as not to get left behind.

But while Shin and Junya managed to prove that forming a sub-unit is okay, and may even yield some unexpectedly great results, it seems that Chizuru and Yuzuru may not be in the same boat as them, as teased in the preview shown at the end of the previous episode.

The twin brothers used to be really close until an incident in the past caused them to drift apart. And even though they have already managed to talk once more, Yuzuru, who is also an idol himself, has remained cool around his brother for the most part.

How would an idol unit with just the two of them fare through?

Advanced digital distribution of "Dream Festival! R" is on Wednesdays on various online streaming platforms including Crunchyroll. The series is scheduled to air on television on Friday, Oct. 6, on Tokyo MX and BS11. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site.
