Drew Scott's Fiancée Expresses Uneasiness With Being Center of Attention in Her Upcoming HGTV Show
"Property Brothers" star Drew Scott has been in the spotlight for quite some time, and aside from his HGTV show with twin brother, Jonathan, he is also busy with his stint in "Dancing with the Stars" (DWTS). With his fiancée now getting her own show, his experience in handling the pressure that comes with fame and success should help her get by.
In a report by PEOPLE, Drew's fiancée Linda Phan shared that she still feels uneasy being the center of attention in her new show titled "Property Brothers at Home: Drew's Honeymoon House." "I'm definitely still not used to it," said Phan. "But working with Drew and Jonathan for the past seven years — they make everything so easy, and make everyone feel so comfortable. So I really did feel right at home," she added.
Moreover, Phan said that her decision to star with the twins in the show is something that she still has reservations about "every single day." Despite her apprehensions, her soon-to-be brother-in-law was elated to have her in the show. "I really considered Linda not just a sister-in-law, but part of the design team," Jonathan shared.
"It was a pretty easy process. And we all have the same ridiculous sense of humor, so I'm amazed we got any work done. We pretty much laughed nonstop," the real estate contractor added.
As for her fiancé, Drew, he reportedly is just happy and relieved that he and Linda managed to conquer the entire renovating ordeal. He said that at first, he was a bit nervous and noted that designing a house together was something new to them, despite Linda's solid background in architectural design.
"I was wondering how we were going to mesh. Were we going to butt heads too much?" Drew said. In the end, he added, "I was blown away by Linda's ideas."
Meanwhile, Drew seems to be enjoying his time at DWTS despite some slips and tumbles on the side. FOX News reported that Drew and his partner Emma Slater fell toward the tail end of their Halloween Night performance.
Luckily, the audience, as well as some of the judges, thought the fall was part of their routine.
