Both of these devices were unveiled in the beginning of last month along with the Droid Razr M, a more compact smartphone that features some amazing specifications.

All three devices pack Corning Gorilla Glass displays, DuPont Kevlar fiber, and a splash-guard coating on the outside to protect from water damage. They also come with Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed.

All three of them have impressive hardware under the hood including a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p HD recording.

The greatest different between the Razr HD and Razr HD Maxx is battery life.

"You can simply do more without the worry of battery life," said Senior Vice President of Product Management Rick Osterloh regarding what the Maxx brings to the table.

The Maxx HD features an impressive 2500mAh battery while the Razr HD has a 1780mAh. The more powerful battery on the Maxx HD allows the owner to listen to 27 hours of music, stream 10 hours of video, and have 21 hours of talk time.

The Razr HD is slightly less powerful, but still packs an impressive performance providing users with 10 hours worth of movie watching on a single charge along with six hours worth of voice-guided turn-by-turn GPS.

Both the Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD come with a 4.7-inch display that features the same clarity of an HDTV and 85 percent better color saturation and 50 percent more pixels per inch than the Apple iPhone 4S.
