The couple also announced Mason's birth in their family blog site, saying that he came out without any birthing complication.

"The entire family is ecstatic over the arrival of another beautiful blessing. We want to thank everyone for your prayers, kind words and well wishes. We appreciate it much more than we could ever express. We pray God blesses each of you with an abundance of the kindness you've shown us," the blog post stated.

Mason will join his siblings Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 6, Marcus, 4, and Meredith, 2, in their home located near Josh's family house also in Arkansas.

The Duggars first announced that they are expecting Josh and Anna's fifth child in a blog post back in March.

The baby's arrival comes after the couple underwent a series of relationship crises in 2015. It includes the child molestation case filed against him by five young girls including four of his sisters made its way to the public, as well as his infidelity and sex addiction problems that were exposed during the Ashley Madison breach.

Aside from Baby Mason, the Duggars also recently welcomed 19-year-old Kendra Caldwell in their family after she married 23-year-old Joseph Duggar at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Friday, Sept. 8.

A preview of the wedding is slated to be aired on TLC Go on Monday, Sept. 18, while a one-hour special is expected to be released on TLC in October.
