Duggar Family News 2015: Promo For New TLC Show Reveals Jill and Jessa 'Devastated' Over Family's Scandal

The teaser promo of the new TLC show featuring the former "19 Kids and Counting" reality TV family stars, Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald (both nee Duggar), is finally out.

Titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," the new three-part special event from the network was previously reported to "document each of the women as they grow their own families and take their next steps in the world."

The program is said to feature the participation of Mr. and Mrs. Derick Dillard, as well as their infant son, as they prepare to move to El Salvador to carry out the missionary work they pledged in.

On the other hand, the special event will also follow Mr. and Mrs. Ben Seewald's journey into parenthood as Jessa is now close to delivering their first baby in November.

The one-minute sneak peek (via TVGuide) opens with a slew of emotional comments from the sisters as they open up about the hurt they felt from their past. Followers of the family may have heard the recent controversy surrounding Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's eldest, Josh.

May of this year, it was reported that Josh had allegedly molested five girls, including four of his own sisters, when he was 14 and 15 years old.

"We were devastated," Jessa said in the clip. "We couldn't believe it. You have to wonder: How did this happen?"

"You're angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together," Jill chimed in. "I've cried a lot of tears. I still do."

The two women were then seen wiping their tears.

Although their brother's name wasn't mentioned in the video, it can be assumed that they are referring to their older brother.

Nevertheless, the two families remained hopeful for the things that lie ahead and at the same time, are ready to leave the past behind.

"Definitely, even with all of the difficulties my family has walked through, there's still a lot of exciting milestones ahead," Jessa said with a smile in her face.

The new three-part special is slated to premiere on TLC in December.
