Dwayne Johnson Hints at Future Collaboration With 'IT' Director Andy Muschietti

Months before Andy Muschietti's film adaptation of "IT" opened in theaters, actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had already had the privilege of watching the movie. And now that "IT" has finally been released worldwide, the actor took to Instagram to share his rave review about it, hinting that he and the director could be working together on a future project.

Although "IT" just hit theaters recently, it has already earned a wealth of great reviews. Of all the reviews written so far about the film, the one that has caught the attention of most fans is that of Johnson's, who recently shared on social media how happy he was about Muschietti's take on the popular 1990 miniseries. Towards the end of his review, he mentioned something about possibly working with the renowned filmmaker in the future, causing everyone to wonder if a project spearheaded by him and Muschietti is actually in the pipeline.

In the latter part of his review, Johnson wrote: "And most of all congrats to director, Andy Muschietti for making such a defining film. You knocked it outta the f****** park! Great talking with you man and we're gonna have some fun working together down the road."

Johnson's review sparked speculations that the director might be helming one of the future films that the former could be starring in. As of now, no project involving both Muschietti and Johnson has been announced yet, so fans are only left to speculate what the actor was referring to in his review.

There are speculations that Muschietti might be working on a film under the DC Extended Universe. This is not out of the question, considering that "IT" is a Warner Bros. film and he was also previously in the running to direct "Justice League Dark."

"IT" is based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name and is one of the most favorite horror flicks of all-time. Muschietti's adaptation of the horror classic is now showing in theaters.
