'DWTS' Celebrity Contestant Alfonso Ribeiro Dances Quickstep for Week 3 as Wife and Son Proudly Cheer Him On
On this week's "Dancing With The Stars," television actor, director and game show host Alfonso Ribeiro did the quickstep with pro partner Witney Carson to rave reviews of the judges.
"Dr. Evil is pleased," said judge Bruno Tonioli. They scored 32 out of 40, and Ribeiro is still among those who are on the top of the season's leaderboard.
For this week's theme, "Movie Night," Ribeiro and Carson danced to Beyonce's "Hey Goldmember," which included the appearance of a small child at the beginning and end of the dance. Ribeiro's "Mini Me" perhaps?
The 43-year old actor does have a son, but it was not the cute little tyke that appeared on stage with him. For now, 11-month old AJ is still a bit too young to do the Carlton with his dad, but he's not too little to cheer him on from the sidelines.
Ribeiro's wife, Angela Unkrich, now Angela Ribeiro, has been spotted during Monday's performance night as she applauded her husband's performance with baby AJ on her lap. Angela has been very supportive of her husband's DWTS stint.
Angela took to Twitter several times to show her support for her husband and Carson, and she wrote, "Such a memorable night…@DancingABC #DWTS @WitneyCarson @alfonso_ribeiro".
"So proud of my hubby @alfonso_ribeiro who did an amazing job tonight on #DWTS! #proudwife," she added.
