"Dying Light" is published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and released in January 2015. It has received positive reviews from critics because of its combat, graphics, cooperative multiplayer and the dynamic day-night cycle utilized in the game. Combat is primarily parkour-based. The day-night cycle also adds extra difficulty to the game. During the daytime, zombies are slow and easily detectible, thus the daytime is usually the time for players to scavenge for supplies. The night time however is a different matter. Zombies become more dangerous and vicious.

This DLC is the second pack released for the game. The first DLC pack was called "Cuisine and Cargo."
