'Dynasty' Season 1 Spoilers: The Carringtons Throw Back to the '80s
The upcoming episode of "Dynasty" season 1 will see the Carringtons taking on the '80s.
The synopsis of the next episode, titled "Guilt is for Insecure People," states that the Carrington family will channel the '80s and put on their best costumes for a Charity Gala. The Carringtons are very careful about their family name, which is why Blake (Grant Show) will not want it to be used in Fallon's (Elizabeth Gillies) new business. Being the spitfire that she is, Fallon will not take no for an answer.
Elsewhere, Cristal (Nathalie Kelley) will find herself at a crossroads when she discovers that her sister is in trouble. This will put her in a delicate position of choosing between her two families.
A teaser trailer for the new episode has also been released. It opens with Blake being swarmed by the press as Steven (James Mackay) tells his sister that he has more important matters to attend to than "an '80s dance party." Fallon assures him that she will do everything in her power to make sure he does not end up in jail, especially since orange is not his color.
At the Charity Gala, both Fallon and Cristal descend from the stairs wearing '80s costumes. "Ah, the '80s. When greed was good," Fallon says as she dances with Jeff (Sam Adegoke). The next scene finds Blake warning Jeff to stay away from his daughter and telling him to leave the property.
The final scene in the trailer sees Cristal putting on a diamond necklace as Fallon tells her that she "was born into diamonds."
"If only diamonds could buy you class," Cristal snaps back.
In the last episode, titled "Spit It Out," viewers saw the possible murder of Matthew (Nick Wechsler), and how the Carringtons did all they could to get rid of anything that could connect them with his death. However, at the wake, things took a surprising turn when the FBI arrested Steven instead of Blake.
"Dynasty" season 1 airs Wednesdays, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
