'EA Sports UFC 2' Revealed To Include More Than 250 Fighters, CM Punk Confirmed
"EA Sports UFC 2" isn't even out yet but many fans are already excited to get their hands on the game. Fortunately, the web is not short of information about it. According to MMA News, journalist Mike Bohn has shared some in-depth coverage for the fans via MMAJunkie.
In the article, he noted how the first game was flawed but still playable. He then said that it's all different now for the second one as a lot has been changed and improved just to provide fans with a great gaming experience.
One of the changes is that the game will be having more than 250 fighters in the roster. From just the lightweight division alone, there are already 41 fighters. A report from 411 Mania detailed that former WWE Superstar CM Punk has been confirmed to be part of the game. He is presently signed to fight for the UFC and is set to make his Octagon debut in 2016.

Other fighters that gamers can expect include Alexandra Albu, Aljamain Sterling, Clay Collard and more. Bruce Buffer is also said to be featured as the announcer while Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan will be doing commentary.
Aside from that, the action moves of the characters in the game have been overhauled as well. Bohn revealed that grappling is no longer turn-based while striking is more realistic now and less arcade-style in terms of speed and pacing. Leg kick TKOs are included in the EA Game for the first time as well. The event mode from THQ's UFC games is also back and Ultimate Team from EA Sports' other games are said to be adapted to the UFC. The Career mode has also been tweaked up, including removing the need to repeat exercises that the player has already mastered.
A lot is in store for "EA Sports UFC 2" but fans will have to wait a little while for its release sometime in Spring 2016.
