'EA Sports UFC 2' Update Adds Three New Fighters, Joe Rogan to be Unlocked

Mixed martial arts fighting video game "EA Sports UFC 2" has received its first update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and it has brought in more treats for the fans. According to a report by Design and Trend, the game's new patch has added in three more new characters to the roster which originally contained over 250 fighters across 10 weight classes during the launch of the game.

In the official website of EA Sports, it detailed that three new fighters are now available. First is welterweight division fighter, Sage Northcutt. The other one is Mexican-born, Jessica Aguilar, under the women's strawweight division. To incorporate some thrill into the game, the third downloadable character is a mystery fighter. EA Sports did not detail who it is but most gamers have already revealed the third fighter.

PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the mystery fighter is none other than welterweight, Joe Rogan, a UFC fighter since 1997. Gamers who wants to play as Rogan will have to unlock the character by keying the Konami code at the title screen. For PlayStation 4 gamers, the code is "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left Right, O, X, Options." Meanwhile, for Xbox One gamers, the code is "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Menu." The unlocking is successful if the players hear Rogan yell, "Wow! I love it!"

"EA Sports UFC 2" was just recently released and for those who are not in the loop yet, Gaming Bolt noted that Rogan is not the only player that should be unlocked in the game before playing. Other characters include Bruce Lee, Mike Tyson, Bas Rutten, and Kazushi Sakuraba. Each character needs to be unlocked through different ways. But they all share one thing in common when it comes to unlocking and that is to simply complete the Career Mode.

The game is now available in stores and for download in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
