Ed Sheeran Gets in Tip-Top Shape with 'Shape of You' Music Video; YouTuber Creates a Mashup with Sia's 'The Greatest'

Ed Sheeran is one incredible artist that doesn't have to show skin to be recognized due to his exceptional music. That being said, he decides to strip down a bit and get buff either way in the "Shape of You" video.

In the song's music video, Sheeran is seen ogling an athletic chick in a gym where he trains and boxes, and thanks to a series of clumsy events they get to talk and date. As a first, he shows that he has been working out with tattoos and all, revealing his more active side, not that he needs it anyway.

As of this writing, the video has amassed close to 19 million views, which is an indication of great reception considering it was only uploaded last Jan. 30. Aside from the beautifully illustrated love affair, it doesn't hurt that the beat is equally, if not, sicker than the clip.

The song and its rhythm are very catchy, so much that only a few days after he released the single, YouTube host ADW MusicLand has created a mashup of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You," and Sia's "The Greatest" and "Cheap Thrills." The combination sounds flawless especially that the songs have similar tempos.

Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" has words that relate to almost anybody. Similar to his friend Taylor Swift's lyrics, the message of the song does not need any intricate deciphering but is rather an honest expression of how one feels, which could probably be the reason why a lot of fans follow him on his social media accounts.

The song is the second of the two singles that Sheeran dropped early this year, with "Castle on the Hill" being the first one and getting a video before "Shape of You." Both songs are part of his unreleased album "Divide," which is expected to be launched by March 3.
