El Moussa Divorce: What Really Pushed the 'Flip or Flop' Stars to Go Their Separate Ways

It is said that no one is safe when it comes to the searing burn of ending relationships, and it looks like "Flip or Flop" couple Christina and Tarek El Moussa are not immune to such pain. Basing on incidents that happened it the past, the divorce was something that almost everyone expected to happen sooner or later.

It can be recalled that there have been rumors of infidelity in Christina's case. According to In Touch Weekly, someone told them that indeed, the contractor Gary Anderson was the third party and Christina's lover. Everything made a turn for the worse since then.

Tarek became suspicious, and it wasn't long until evidence was found. "Tarek saw Christina's phone and [believed] there was some inappropriate texting going on between Christina and Gary," the insider said. This preempted the incident where Tarek ran amok with guns and all, creating haywire all over.

Recently, it looks like the said affair is true. New pictures arose just recently, showing that she is going out with Anderson. It looks like the cat is out of the bag, and the former couple had to come clean.

According to People magazine, they decided separating was for the best. "We decided to separate while we reevaluated the next steps in our married life. We believed this was in the best interests of the children and the best way to determine a path forward."

There's a new angle, however, showing why Christina looked the other way in the first place. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Tarek had the habit of demeaning his wife when she makes mistakes on set, to the point that she would break down in tears. "Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks," a source told them.

Unfortunately, even seemingly picture-perfect couples will have to part when real life kicks in.
