'Elder Scrolls Online' Orsinium Expansion Pack Detailed

"The Elder Scrolls Online," a multiplayer massively online role playing game is getting a second expansion pack this November. Called "Orsinium," it is named after the homeworld of the Orcs in the game, according to a report in GameSpot. The new content will bring more than 20 hours of gameplay and is set in the world of the Orcs, as the name suggests.

Game developer Zenimax Online Studios and publisher Bethesda recently announced that the DLC pack will be available for PC and Mac on November 2. Console versions will be released two weeks after, with the Xbox One version arriving on November 17 and the PS4 version arriving on November 18. PC gamers, however, have the opportunity to preview the DLC pack as it is available on the Public Test Server of the game.

According to the report, the new content will be bringing to gamers a new single-player arena called the Maelstrom Arena, which features two levels of difficulty and nine combat rings where players can prove their mettle against different enemies. Those who win in combat will be rewarded generously. There will also be new public dungeons found in Orsinium called Old Orsinium and Rkindaleft. These dungeons will bring new challenges for either single player or multiplayer modes. There will also be exclusive rewards available for gamers who get the new content.

Another report in PC Gamer indicated that the context in which gamers enter the Orcish city is because its King has called on adventurers to come to the city and help in its reconstruction. Bethesda said in its announcement: "Your efforts and actions while in Orsinium and the mountains of Wrothgar have a direct impact on the reconstruction effort. The city will visibly transform."

In order to get the DLC pack, players can either be active subscribers to ESO Plus or gamers can also purchase the pack for a one-time fee of $25. It can also be purchased for 3,000 crowns for the standard edition, 5,000 crowns for the Collector's Bundle, both of which can be bought from the in-game Crown Store.
