'Elegant Yokai Apartment Life' Episode 13 Spoilers: Yuushi's Intense Training Begins; Second Cour to Introduce New Character?
Summer begins, and major changes are coming to Yuushi Inaba's life as the Japanese supernatural anime series "Youkai Apartment no Yuuga na Nichijou (Elegant Yokai Apartment Life)" nears its second cour. But will a stronger power equate to much stronger enemies?
This week's episode saw the end of Yuushi's battle against the Id Monster that has possessed his new teacher, Miura Katsumasa, with help from Kotobuki-so's exorcist-in-training, Akine Kuga. But when Miura came after Yuushi despite having been freed from the Id Monster, Yuushi retaliated with an excessive amount of magic from his magic book and ended up destroying the school's art room and injuring himself.
And while he got comfort and wise advice from the elders of the Kotobuki-so, his best friend Mizuki Hase took one look at his bandages and snapped, subsequently slapping him across the face several times before asking Akine to train him how to use his magic properly.
A month later, Yuushi's injuries have already healed, and he was seen running away from bullies and laughing along the way. It seems that he has finally learned to choose his battles right. What other magic and personal skills will he be learning as he starts training with Akine in the summer?
The preview for the next episode titled "Metamorphosis" gives brief glimpses of the intense training that he is about to go through, and how, at the end of it all, he seems to be transforming into a new version of himself.
A new chapter in Yuushi's life is about to begin, and a new key visual art for the series has just been released to commemorate it. The image shows Yuushi, Fool, and the residents of Kotobuki-so, along with a new character that has been described as a new teacher at Yuushi's high school.
The second cour begins in October.
