Ella Chen Pregnancy News: Pop Star Expected to Give Birth in the Very Near Future

Ella Chen and her husband Alvin Lai are expecting their first child

Pop star Ella Chen will soon have another adoring fan to sing to in person, as she is expected to give birth to her first child in the near future.

Chen initially confirmed that she was pregnant with her first child with husband Alvin Lai back in October via Facebook and Weibo announcements that featured the pop star holding on to some pregnancy tests, The Straits Times reported.

Notably, Chen also revealed that she was already three months pregnant by the time that she had confirmed the news, and as Yibada pointed out, that would seem to suggest that she is due any day now given that she is in her ninth month of pregnancy.

Fans of Chen and of the band S.H.E., where she is joined by fellow singers Selina Jen and Hebe Tien, are likely waiting with great anticipation for the next announcement related to the pregnancy.

In the meantime, Chen has still kept in touch with fans during her pregnancy, as she has used her Facebook account to post updates every now and then that have given quick looks into her life as an expecting mother.

Also, for fans who may be fearing that Chen is not getting enough practice when it comes to singing, it seems as though the pop star is still performing, albeit to a much smaller audience.

According to a recent report from Toggle, Chen's husband revealed that the pop star has been indulging in some late night karaoke. Lai also revealed that his wife has been particularly fond of belting out some love songs and that she remains quite the singer as well, which probably comes as no surprise to her many fans.

More news about Ella Chen and the expected birth of her first child should be made available in the near future.
