Ellen Page Stalker Discovered: Joshua Myers Handed Restraining Order
Actress Ellen Page has been granted a restraining order from an alleged stalker after threatening messages were sent via Twitter.
Police believe they have found the man who is responsible for sending threatening Twitter messages to Ellen Page, according to reports. The man, Joshua Michael Myers, has been issued a restraining order; two Twitter accounts were shut down.
Michaels is accused of sending death threats to Page, cautioning her to end her relationship or she will be killed. The tweets date back to June.

Page and Alexander Skarsgard finished filming the film "The East" over the winter. Both star in the film about an anarchist and a contract worker who falls for the group's leader. Later in June, the co-stars were suspected of being in a romantic relationship when they showed up as a pair to the hockey Stanley Cup game in Los Angeles.
One of Page's fans, though, appears to not have approved of Skarsgard as a mate. Beginning in June, the fan began to send death threats to Page on her Twitter account.
"I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead," one message read.
A second message was more descriptive about motive and suggested that the fan was upset over Page's new relationship with Skarsgard.
"Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year ... Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs," another tweet read.
The death threats came from two separate accounts but were believed to be from the same user. A death threat also came via phone call according to TMZ, while Page was promoting her film "To Rome With Love" in June during the LA Film Festival. The LAPD claimed that an anonymous person called the festival and claimed that they intended to "kill Page."
