Emagon Release Date: PlayStation Trailer Video Leaked Before Friday Game Launch
A Spanish Playstation blog has released a trailer for a game title called "Emagon" and points to a world premier game which is set to be released on Sony's Playstation Experience event in a few days. Apparently, the title is in celebration of Sony's Playstation brand reaching 20 years.
"20 years. It's a lot of time. Look around you and see everything you have achieved. You have reigned on infinite places, you have conquered and freed, you have built and destroyed. You have been the light before the darkness," a translation of the voice-over in the trailer says.
"However, this time is different. This time, it is real. For the first time your actions have real consequences. They need your help. The power to change things is in your hands."
Not much is revealed regarding the title, except for a video description of "Discover the best kept secret on Playstation."
The blog also writes a description about the video saying, "As you know, Playstation meets this week 20 years. This is a very special day for us, we thought never get as far from the Japanese release of out beloved PSOne back in 1994. So we want to offer something to rise to the occasion."
Interestingly, "Emagon" spelled backwards is No Game and offers little about what the game might be. Some are speculating that the part where the voice-over says, "However, this time is different," is hinting at a possible Project Morpheus release.
Gamers will find out when Sony reveals it at their Playstation Experience Event on Dec. 5.
