Will Dorothy be able to forego any chance of ever going back home in order to side with the greater good? Or will she keep her alliance with The Wizard if only for the promise of a passage back to Kansas City and? As she promised Nahara (Mia Mountain) in the Prison of the Abject, she has yet to take The Wizard, aka Frank, away with her, and thus save Oz from his oppressive rule.

In what unexpected way will the salvation of Oz come, and whose hands will be wielding the weapon that finally frees it? What will happen to Lucas (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), whom Dorothy tied up and left to dry in the sun on a scarecrow's pole? How will Eamonn (Mido Hamada), the soldier in the lion's helmet, find his true courage in the mids of war? And will Princess Ozma eventually reclaim what is rightfully hers, and at the same time learn to accept the body that she has been born with?
Meanwhile, in the Land of Ev, Jane (Gina McKee) may serve as a powerful ally for Dorothy's quest to bring Frank down to size. Would she? And what will become of the mechanical queen of Ev, Langwidere (Stefanie Martini), now that her true nature has been revealed to Jack (Gerran Howell)? Will he agree to get her fixed or ask Jane to forge a death mask for her instead?
