Both artists previously collaborated on songs 'Love the Way You Lie,' 'Love the Way You Like 2,' and 'Numb.'

Rihanna discussed her experience working with Eminem back in Jan. in an interview with Complex magazine.

"The moment I worked with him on 'Love the Way You Lie,' I wanted to work with him again, and we did 'Love the Way You Lie Part 2,' she said while discussed her song 'Numb.' "And then I wanted to work with him again. I just love working with Eminem. He's just one of my favorite rappers, and his lyrics-he's a true poet, and I enjoy that about him. For this song, I needed someone with not only his skill, but his personality."

The rapper's new album 'The Marshal Mathers LP 2' hits stores on Nov. 5.

Eminem discussed the reason why he decided to call his new album The Marshal Mathers LP 2 and even went as far as to say that it is a not a direct sequel to its predecessor, but more of a revisitation to the style he used on it in a recent Rolling Stone interview.

"Calling it The Marshal Mathers LP 2, obviously I knew that there might be certain expectations," he said. "I wouldn't want to call it that just for the sake of calling it that. I had to make sure I had the right songs- and just when you think you got it, you listen and you're like, I feel like it needs this or that , to paint the whole picture."

The rapper continued by saying that MMLP 2 is "not necessarily a sequel, as much as it is a revistiation."
