New Eminem Tracks Expected in Second Half of This Year?
It's been almost four years since popular American rapper Eminem released a new album, and his fans are already anxious to get their hands on fresh new tracks from the upcoming collection that he has promised to be working on.
The master rapper assured his fans last year that he's working hard on an album, and even posted along with it an eight-minute video titled "Campaign Speech," wherein he rapped about controversial topics such as the Trayvon Martin shooting police violence, Apple Watches and Donald Trump. With this, he has shown fans that his rapping skills and bold ways with words have not wavered through the years.
His last album titled "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," which was released back in 2013 debuted at the top spot on the U.S. Billboard 200, went on to finish second-best in said year's overall album sales and was even awarded Best Rap Album at the 57th Grammy Awards. It may have been years since then, but fans can rest assured that Eminem is cooking up something that will be worth the wait.
According to multiple sources, Eminem's much-awaited new album will finally be released in the second half of this year after missing out on the previously rumored January launch. And since the 44-year-old rapper has previously collaborated with some of the big names in music today, his album is expected to feature more collaborative titles when it finally drops in August.
Rumor has it that Eminem could be in talks to create music with the likes of Dr. Dre, Adele and Snoop Dog in his upcoming 2017 album. Other suggested artists include Imagine Dragons, Vince Staples, Lana Del Rey and 50 Cent. Some fans believe that Eminem's rapping prowess would be a perfect match to the kind of music that these artists are creating, and collaborating with them may result in more impressive tracks.
There are still no confirmed details about Eminem's alleged new album and rumors and speculations should always be taken with a pinch of salt.
