Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield: Couple Spotted in Italy, Actress to Make Broadway Debut
Emma Stone and her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, have been spotted in Italy. Both of them are in town to promote their respective films— Stone's "Birdman" and Garfield's "99 Homes" —at the 2014 Venice Film Festival.
Stone walked the red carpet at the Opening Night Gala on Aug. 27 for her movie's premiere wearing an emerald green gown, which showed off her flawless skin and new bob haircut.
On Aug. 28, the couple was seen having lunch together at the Excelsior Hotel. The 25-year old actress wore a black top and oatmeal colored pants by Sandro, accessorized with dark sunglasses, while Garfield was garbed in a white long sleeved shirt and grey pants.
They were also photographed as they were about to take a romantic boat ride. This time, Stone wore a pair of skinny jeans, a cream top, a khaki blazer and tan sandals for the outing, which coordinated with Garfield's dark pants, white shirt and brown vest.
The couple met in 2010, but didn't start dating until 2011. They have worked together on the "Spiderman" reboot, and right now, it seems as though Stone will be taking some notes from Garfield as she prepares to make her Broadway debut.
Garfield started his career onstage, appearing in plays such as "Bugsy Malone," "The Drowning Man," and "The Laramire Project." He garnered a Tony award nomination for his work on "Death of a Salesman." On the other hand, Stone started working on television before transitioning to film, and her big break came when she was cast in the Judd Apatow comedy movie 'Superbad'.
Bustle.com is reporting that Stone will be joining the cast of "Cabaret" this coming November, replacing Michelle Williams in the role of Sally Bowles. The website is reporting that Stone will start her run on Nov. 11 until Feb. 1, 2015.
