Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield Message to Paparazzi Honors Charities

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are making the most of the attention they garner from the paparazzi with a special note this week.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars, who are a real-life couple, stepped out for breakfast in New York City on Tuesday, June 17. However, instead of ignoring the paparazzi during the outing, Stone and Garfield were photographed holding signs directed at the cameramen.

"Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside," Stone's message scrawled on cardboard began, held in front of her face, according to Us Weekly. "And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do."

In an attempt to redirect the paparazzi's attention from them onto worthy causes, Stone's message drew an arrow to Garfield who was holding a sign that continued the message. The couple supports www.youthmentoring.org, www.austismspeaks.org, (and don't forget) www.wwo.org, www.gildasclubnyc.org.

"Here's to the stuff that matters," Garfield added after listing the charities. "Have a great day!"

The outing marked the second time Stone and Garfield drew attention to charitable causes through their media appeal. In September 2012, the pair used the same tactics with a sign that read, "We just found out that there are paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. Why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it? Wwo.org gildasclubnyc.org. Have a good day!"

Meanwhile, Stone and Garfield have been dating for over three years, but only recently have they discussed their relationship.

"He's obviously one of the greatest actors, I think, we have alive today," Stone gushed of her boyfriend while on "Good Morning America" in April.

"He's also just a remarkable human being. I love him very much," the 25-year-old added.

For his part, Garfield offered praise for Stone while on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon recently.

"She's just magic," the British actor said.
