The best drama series award is likely to bring the most drama of the night oddly enough. "Mad Men" has held the crown title for four years in a row and may just go up for a fifth, but others are banking their money on the British series "Downton Abbey" which was wildly popular this season. For a dark horse, "Homeland" might be worth considering.

Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Claire Danes of Showtime's "Homeland" has come a long was since "My So Called Life and is the top contender for lead actress in this category.

Outstanding Comedy Series

It seems to be unanimously agreed upon that "Modern Family" will take home the win for the third year in a row. The rookie this year, "Girls" could throw some, considering how well talked about it was in girls locker rooms everywhere.

Lead Actor in a Drama Series

As much as viewers seem to enjoy Micheal C. Hall spattered in blood as "Dexter" it appears that Bryan Cranston from "Breaking Bad" will be breaking in with a good streak and a possible Emmy award.

Unexpected Wins

Christina Hendricks of "Mad Men" may just surprise some by taking the award for supporting actress over the well-liked Maggie Smith from "Downton Abbey." An underdog in the comedy section, Amy Poehler may finally clinch the win on best comedy actress for her portrayal in "Parks and Recreation."
