However, his confessions can surely cause much conflict and friction among the family members. He confessed that he was the one who convinced Cookie to use Jamal to get her way with Lucious. In addition, it was also revealed that he was the one responsible for the shooting at Jamal's recording.

The episode also showed many thieves trying to get into the Lyon Dynasty headquarters. Cookie then finds out that the thieves were sent by Thirsty Rawlings. With that, many of her possessions were taken from her, which she had kept in a warehouse.

As for Jamal, he was seen being pursued by an artist named Chase One. Chase offered to do a sexual deed, which Jamal refused. Walking in on them, Jamal's boyfriend, Michael, became suspicious of the two. This made Michael decide to get back by getting into bed with Chase.

However, that is not the only issue that Jamal faced during the episode. He was seen having a recording session with Ne-Yo as the guest producer. Unfortunately, Lucious does not think that Jamal was giving his best performance in front of Ne-Yo. Lucious also urged Jamal to not bring Michael to his upcoming tour with Ne-Yo.
