'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers, Recap: FBI Raids Empire and Dynasty, Vernon Makes An 'Appearance' and Cookie Gives Up Lucious

Hip-hop and drama television series "Empire" has been back for its second season for four weeks now and in this week's episode, the drama between Lucious and his ex-wife Cookie Lyon continue, with their three sons caught in between. According to a report in Speak Easy, this episode signalled the start of Cookie's plan to get back at Lucious, especially since he has been blocking every attempt of Cookie to take over Empire Entertainment.

At the start of the episode, Empire Entertainment is being raided by the FBI after prosecutor Roxanne Ford sics the feds on Lucious in an effort to pin take him down. Ford has been working very hard to catch Lucious and put him behind bars for his criminal ways. Lucious on the other hand did not seemed fazed by the raid, thinking that it will add to their "street cred." Cookie's own company, Lyon Dynasty, was also raided by the FBI.

Lucious called his sons to a family meeting so that they can think of a plan to deal with the FBI. In the end, eldest son Andre who wants desperately to get back into his father's favor, promised to take some steps in order to get Ford off his father's back and this is by giving her Vernon's body. Ford had been looking for her star witness but has not managed to find him all this time after Andre's wife, Rhonda, killed him and buried his body in the woods.

Andre does deliver, after he and his wife Rhonda go off and dig up Vernon's body, much to Lucious' satisfaction. Lucious ends up placing the dead Vernon in the passenger seat of Ford's car.

Before all of this, however, Ford manages to get Cookie in a position to snitch on Lucious. Cookie finally found a way to get back at Lucious for snaking the Apex Radio deal from Dynasty. Instead of telling Ford what she knows about Lucious murdering Bunkie, she tells Ford that Lucious and Bunkie were in fact arguing about the Apex Radio deal before he was killed. This apparently was enough for Ford to move on her case against Lucious.

More "Empire" drama happens every Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. on Fox.
