'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Hakeem As CEO
After a successful come back, fans are excited to see more of the Lyon family in the upcoming episodes of "Empire."
Fans are aware that the Lyon have been through a lot in the first half of Season 2. With that, there is more to come in the upcoming episodes now that Empire has a new leader. It was previously revealed that Hakeen, played by Bryshere Y. Gray, will be taking on the role of CEO in the upcoming episodes. This new change will surely bring some drama to the small screen.
The upcoming episode, titled "A Rose By Any Other Name," will see Hakeem's struggle as he takes on his new position. It was hinted that he will be challenged by Camilla, played by Naomi Campbell, as well as his own family. Now that he is torn with the two opposing sides, Hakeem will have to make his own deicison for the well being of the company.

With Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson, posing as the new head for artists and repertoire, fans can expect that she will have the goal of taking Camilla out of the picture. However, she will not be the only one trying to take out Camilla. The teaser for the upcoming episode showed Lucious relying on fear to shake Camilla out of the label.
According to the synopsis of episode 12, Hakeem will claim his throne by becoming the face of Empire. His first order of business is the presenting of the new logo for Empire, which resembles his face. As for his brother, Jamal, played by Jussie Smollett, there is another set of problems ahead. It was stated that he will lose the opportunity to work with Jameson, played by William Fichtner, due to the fact that there is a stain in Jamal's reputation. With that, there is a chance that Jamal will lose his fan base, unless he can find a way to remedy the situation.
