England vs. Ukraine – Euro 2012 Group D: Watch Online Live Stream

The England vs. Ukraine match is on Tuesday, with both teams having it all still to play for. Ukraine know if they can cause an upset and beat the English they will snatch the quarter final spot from their opponents. England, however, just need a draw to progress. The game kicks off at 2.45 p.m. and can be watched live on ESPN, or fans can watch online through live stream on ESPN 3 (details below).

Even though most critics would agree England have got the job done thus far and put in reasonable displays, they have certainly not set the tournament on fire and are not yet firing on all cylinders. Many will be looking at today's game to see whether England can control the game, which means keeping possession for extended periods and creating consistent chances – something they have struggled to achieve in their opening two games.

The England team under Roy Hodgson, however, have become a much tighter team and are difficult to break down and beat. They are not giving many opportunities to score to the opposition – something they will want to continue today seeing as they only need a draw in the tie against Ukraine.

A selection dilemma hit Hodgson this week as Wayne Rooney returned from suspension. Both Danny Welbeck and Andy Carroll have scored impressive goals in the opening games, but one will have to make way for undoubtedly England's best player. Pre-match news indicates that Carroll will be dropped to the bench and Welbeck will start upfront with his Manchester United team mate.

The England squad will be more confident having come through a stern test against Sweden. England had given up their lead to Sweden and were 2-1 behind in the second half, but an inspired move by new manager Roy Hodgson saw Theo Walcott enter as a substitute and he turned the game on its head. Walcott scored the equalizer and crossed for Danny Welbeck's spectacular winner late on.

However, Ukraine will present a dangerous prospect. They know only a win will see them qualify for the knock out stages, and so will be pushing for goals from the start, ensuring an open and attacking game.

If England come second in the group they will play Spain in the quarter finals, where as if they win they can look forward to Italy in the knock out stages. If England and France both win their games today, as expected, then it will come down to goal difference to see who finishes top of Group D. However, there may be some surprises to come in Group D.

England vs. Ukraine will kick off at 2.45 p.m. EST and will be screened live on ESPN, and can be watched online through live streaming on ESPN 3 by clicking HERE.
