Eva Longoria Denies George Clooney Rumors After Stacy Keibler Split
Eva Longoria recently denied reports claiming George Clooney pursued her shortly before his split from Stacy Keibler.
The "Desperate Housewives" star, 38, was at the center of controversy on Thursday after a report linked her to Clooney, 52. The actor recently ended his relationship with Keibler, 33, but Longoria insists that her relationship with Clooney is platonic.
"As interesting as the George Clooney rumors are, they aren't true. George and I have been friends for years," Longoria tweeted on July 18.

The actress is now said to be dating reality TV star Ernesto Arguello, who appeared on the NBC show "Ready For Love," which she produced.
A tabloid sparked the Longoria-Clooney rumors on Thursday after claiming that the Hollywood actor pursued Longoria during a business trip to Germany while he was still involved with Keibler.
"George began pursuing Eva," a source told Us magazine. "He told her that he was still with Stacy, but had plans to break up with her and was interested in being with Eva."
In an interview with Extra, Keibler, who is a former WWE wrestler, confirmed her split from Clooney but insisted that they are not on bad terms. Various reports claimed the pair's two-year relationship ended badly, however the model revealed that she and the actor are "all good."
"There's nothing really dramatic that happened, so it's all good," Keibler told Extra on Monday, July 15.
The TV presenter revealed that she is ready to move forward after her split from Clooney and is currently focused on work. Keibler's upcoming new TV show, "Supermarket Superstar," premieres Monday, July 22 on Lifetime.
"I'm someone that's always lived the present moment. I always look at the positive on everything," she said. "I'm so excited for all these projects coming up, and I'm super busy."
