Evelyn Lozada Moves Out of Marital Home Amid Beverly Shiner Affair Claims

Speaks Out About Brother-In-Law's Passing

Evelyn Lozada reportedly moved out of her and Chad Johnson's marital home after he assaulted her on Saturday, and new reports confirm that the "Basketball Wives" star is now also mourning the death of her brother-in-law.

Lozada, 37, reportedly packed her belongings and walked out of the estranged couple's Florida home after Johnson, 34, was arrested and jailed over the assault. On Tuesday she learned that Anthony Ochoa, her sister Sylvia's husband of more than 10 years, passed away after a long battle with cancer.

"Anthony was an amazing husband, father, and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed," Lozada told TMZ.com.

Ochoa, who was 43 when he passed, escorted Lozada down the aisle during her July 4 wedding to Johnson, 34. As the Vh1 star mourns his passing, she now also faces the reality of possibly having to end her 5-week marriage to Johnson following the assault.

"Evelyn is no longer at the home she shared with Ocho," a source told Hollywood Life. "It's an unfortunate situation."

New reports suggest that there was another woman involved in the couple's brief marriage. Beverly Shiner, a 30-year-old mother of two, claims that after meeting Johnson on Twitter the pair engaged in a months-long affair.

"It wasn't just a one night thing, he always said he wanted to move in with me, and said if he had I'd be pregnant by then. He kept asking if I wanted to have more kids. Once, when I was at his house, I asked what would happen if Evelyn walked in right now, and he said she wouldn't care," Shiner told RadarOnline.com.

"He said, 'I'm not doing anything different than what every other man is doing,' he thinks it is fine to cheat. I feel he was completely disrespectful and he led me on," she added.

According to police, Lozada suffered a 3-inch laceration to her forehead after Johnson allegedly head-butted her during a dispute over a condom receipt that she had confronted him about. The reality star was hospitalized and Johnson, an 11-year NFL veteran, spent the night at Broward County jail before posting $2500 bail the following day.

The Miami Dolphins fired him over the incident, and the pair's upcoming reality TV show "Ev and Ocho" was subsequently canceled by the Vh1 network also over the debacle.
