Every Phone Specs Review: Thinnest Windows Phone Announced By Yamada Denki
Japanese electronics retailer chain Yamada Denki has brought to existence a new smartphone dubbed as the Every Phone. According to Tech Times, the device is considered as the thinnest Windows Phone to date.
Despite the popularity of other operating systems like Android and iOS, many are looking into trying out the Windows Phone especially now that Microsoft has launched the Windows 10 Mobile version. The Every Phone runs with the latest Windows 10 Mobile and is reported by NDTV Gadgets to be available for purchase for JPY 39,800 (approximately Rs 22,000) for the unlocked while the locked version is available for a price of JPY 1,791 (approximately Rs 1,000) per month for two years.
The device's thin dimension is expected to catch the attention of smartphone enthusiasts. It measures 154.8 x 78.6 x 6.9 mm, or 6.09 x 3.09 x 0.27 inches. It surpassed Nokia Lumia 830 which was considered before as the thinnest Windows Phone-powered mobile device available to customers. The Japan-made smartphone is also actually thinner than the iPhone 6s which is 7.1 mm or 0.28 inch thick.
In terms of the specifications, Observer Leader detailed that the device sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels screen resolution. It is equipped with a 1.2 Ghz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It is powered with 2GB of RAM and comes with an internal memory storage of 32 GB that can be expanded further via microSD card.
It also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset supports 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+, as well as a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a Bluetooth 4.0 and Global Positioning System Chronicle Daily. Keeping the smartphone lighted up is a 2600mAh battery. It is also said to be pre-loaded with Office Mobile apps like Powerpoint, Word and Excel. The sales of the Every Phone device has already started in Japan.
