Ancologia Continues to Threaten the Guild; Ezra Returns to the Battlefield in 'Fairy Tail' Chapter 524

The "Fairy Tail" manga has entered its final arc and the final battle is just around the corner. Following the return of Ancologia in the back-to-back release of chapters 522 and 523, the next chapter will lead the guild to the ultimate battle that will mark the end of Natsu's story.

On Feb. 21, the official website of the manga featured a theatrical poster and information page which revealed that "Fairy Tail" is already on its final arc. As it approaches its finale, fans can expect the events to get more intense, especially now that the Black Dragon Slayer is already back.

Titled "Black Future," chapter 524 will follow Ancologia as he continues to threaten all the members of the guild. The last page of chapter 523 also hints that the new opponent will join the final battle, which will see the return of Ezra. It can be recalled that after his battle in chapter 519, fans never caught a glimpse of him again.

There are speculations that as Ezra returns to the battlefield, he will face not only Ancologia but Irene as well. However, some speculate that the Black Dragon Slayer is not after Ezra but Wendy. Other spoilers for the chapter also suggest that Natsu and Zeref will be the focus of chapter 524 but this remains to be seen.

Since the official preview for the chapter has yet to be released, fans should take all these speculations with a grain of salt. As of this writing, the only thing that is certain is that Ancologia will still be in chapter 524 to terrorize the guild.

Meanwhile, the "Fairy Tail" official website revealed this week that the manga has already sold 60 million copies worldwide. This 2017, the series will make a comeback in the form of a feature film, which is set for release next month.

"Fairy Tail" chapter 524 will be released on March 7.
