Fallout 4 Release Date News: Launch Scheduled for November 10, 2015

Bethesda's "Fallout 4" was announced in June and is set to be released this November. From unveiling to launch, that is a rather short time.

The exclusive "Fallout 4" demo at Quakecon 2015 in July focused entirely on combat with little revelation of the plot and storyline. The demo briefly talked about the expanded SPECIAL system - and then the mayhem started. The wastelands of Lexington, Massachusetts soon became littered with body parts of various ghouls and raiders. Though the demo unveils new characters, love interests, Fallout Shelter news among other items, it may still be not enough.

Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing, Pete Hines says all this is deliberate. "I would be stunned if we said anything else about the story ever again [prior to launch]," says Hines in an IGN report

The team's focus now is on ensuring that "Fallout 4" comes out a truly awesome sequel to the highly popular Fallout 3. Bethesda Game Studios appears to be building up a formidable backdrop for "Fallout 4", trying to give players quality experience.

The demo showed a game world rich with detail and seamless interactivity. Hines says, "Every single item in the world is a real object that has physics, and can go bouncing off of walls, ceilings and floors, [or] can be picked up and put down somewhere else."

"I can tell you with all confidence that right now the team is one hundred per cent focused on the game itself," adds Hines. "Mod support, DLC… That's all nice, but if we don't deliver an awesome game by November 10th our DLC plans won't matter and our plans for mod support will be irrelevant. We have to deliver a great game [in the first place]."

At the Quakecon 2015, Bethesda also announced a PC Collectible Fallout Anthology comprising of all Fallout games inside a replica of a nuclear bomb.
