'Fallout 4' Gameplay: New Screenshots Tease Main Map Scale, New Inventory Menus, NPC Characters, And Other Things

Counting a handful of days before Bethesda's highly-anticipated open-world action-adventure game, "Fallout 4," comes out, a slew of purported gameplay footage has come out to the surface giving a glimpse as to what the latest installment of the post-apocalyptic gaming franchise has to offer.

Over at Kotaku.com, a player has been reportedly scaling the whole area of the "Fallout 4" Boston-area map. The footage of the alleged in-game feat has been uploaded to the popular social media site Reddit by one user named RedBeardedT. The clip, which may have already been taken down, showed the player running from one end of the map to the other.

As described by the publication, it took the said player about "10 minutes and 40 seconds" to travel through the desolated version of Boston. Needless to say, there's so much that the game could offer than what has been briefly shown in the clip, the site noted.

On related news, this time coming from Gamepur.com, a series of leaked in-game screenshots were seen describing what appears to be the early parts of the game where players are assumed to have already set up their characters and have met a number of NPCs.

Citing a few from the website, there is a long-haired male character wearing a hat and a pair of shades. The other one pictured is a woman with blonde hair whose name, as the picture suggests, is Geneva. The scene is assumed to be about the sale of a residential property which Geneva described as "bigger than most." Accordingly, players can alter the look of the property's interior with the tools for furnishings provided at "no extra charge."

The pictures also offered a glimpse of the inventory menu in the new title, which fans of the series may find familiar.

"Fallout 4" is slated to hit the shelves this Tuesday, Nov. 10, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned for more updates.
