'Fallout 4' set to be released this November without DJ Three Dog

Leading game developer Bethesda recently announced the release date of all-time video game favorite "Fallout 4" on Nov. 10. However, die-hard game fans learned that one of their favorite characters, DJ Three Dog, will not be returning on the fourth video game installment.

According to DJ Three Dog's voice actor, Erik Todd Dellums, he was not invited to audition for Fallout 4 to record the disc jock's voice. Much to the voice actor's dismay, Bethesda confirmed on Twitter that the voice recordings of the game are now complete, without him being offered to record the character's voice.

Dellums posted his disappointment in a series of tweets on the social media website. "It's the joy in creating the character that moved me. Like Luther on Homicide, saying goodbye is tough," He said that he is just ready to "move on to what's possible and next," and that God has more powerful plans than his. He also said he is awaiting for new opportunities. "The bottom line: Fallout fans are the best," he said to the loyal game followers. "Love their energy, loyalty and kindness."

Fans were saddened to hear the news about the Galaxy News Radio's host. In "Fallout 3," players listen to DJ Three Dog's news and updates using their PipBoy in the game. As survivors travel the barren and scorched landscape of the game, the DJ plays different collection of songs for them.

Fans have speculated that the removal of the DJ's character in the game has been caused by Dellums' tweet two years ago about being part of the next Fallout game. The voice actor's spoiler has made Bethesda sanction him by not getting his voice services, according to IGN's video report.

Dellums just hopes that Bethesda will still consider his talent, and he said that, "he's reachable," in case the company needed him again.
