'Family Guy' Season 13 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers and News: Features Crossover With 'The Simpsons'

Season 13 of "Family Guy" will start off with one of the most highly anticipated crossovers with another animated family —The Simpsons.

Executive producer Steve Callahan spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the premiere episode, titled "The Simpsons Guy" and spilled some major spoilers.

"I hope it entertains people for an hour, and I hope it puts to rest rumors that there's a big feud between us and 'The Simpsons,'" said Callahan. "It's a 'Family Guy' episode and not a 'Simpsons' episode, and I think it does have a little more of a 'Family Guy' feel to it."

"Family Guy" co-showrunner and executive producer Richard Appel spoke about how they got together with the creators of "The Simpsons" — creator Matt Groening and executive producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean —and how everyone on both teams were looking forward to the collaboration.

"From the start, Al and Jim and Matt were on board with it being an episode of 'Family Guy' … with the condition 'Do us proud, please don't kill Marge, and let us read the script,'" said Appel.

"We said to Jim and Al and Matt, 'It's not our idea to do something that you'd be watching for the first time when it airs and say, 'What have we done?' We want it to be something you'll also like,'" he added.

The episode will reportedly see Stewie skateboarding and making friends with his new idol, Bart, and Stewie will also be trying out Bart's trademark catchphrase. Meanwhile, Meg will get some much-needed lessons in self-confidence from Lisa, and Marge and Lois will do some motherly bonding. It will also feature a "nuclear chicken fight" between Peter and Homer that lasts for about seven minutes.

Watch "The Simpsons Guy" when "Family Guy" returns to FOX on Sept. 28 with a one-hour episode which starts at 9 p.m., and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
