'Family Guy' Spoilers: Exec Teases Remaining Carrie Fisher Episodes

The late Carrie Fisher, who is best known for portraying Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" franchise will be honored on "Family Guy," after more than a decade of playing Angela, Peter's boss at the brewery.

The actress may no longer be with us, but she lives on through her work. The first of her posthumous episodes from the animated comedy aired last spring. The second to the last airs on Sunday wherein Angela fires Peter (Seth MacFarlane) three times. The last episode will premiere a month later.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Steve Callaghan teased that Peter will be fired in the style of Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and then Michael Bay.

When asked about what sticks out in Fisher's performance in the upcoming episode, titled "Three Directors," the exec shared that it was how she delivered lines when Angela fired Peter in the style of Wes Anderson.

"I love Wes Anderson movies, but even he would admit that sometimes his characters speak in ways that are not like humans speak," said Anderson. "She comes in dressed in this odd get-up that we've never seen her wear before, and says, 'You're relieved of your position.' It's like, who fires someone that way? "

Anderson believes that Fisher nailed that portrayal. He said it was delivered perfectly. On the other hand, his most favorite part was when Peter was fired in a Michael Bay-esque way, in which the segment ends with Angela and Peter locking lips in the "grossest" and "longest" French kiss.

Additionally, the show will make a special tribute to Fisher and will provide a closing storyline for Angela. The episode is scheduled to premiere next fall.

Fisher also appears in a Christmas episode titled "Don't Be a Dickens at Christmas." It airs on Dec 10.
