Stephen Curry Leads Fantasy Basketball 2016 Draft Rankings; What is LeBron James' Standing? List of Players and Stats
Two Golden State Warriors are sitting well in the Fantasy basketball draft ahead of NBA season opener. Stephen Curry is still in the lead, though Fantasy owners may not be happy that teammates are trailing behind. Kevin Durant is following the lead but Fantasy forecast shows that Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have possibility to land in top ten.
Fantasy basketball has Stephen Curry leading – for now
Stephen Curry is immovable in the first spot although there are perceptions that he may account less this season. Curry's Fantasy value may significantly drop because of the need to share the 2,500 minutes play with other Warriors. Equations are also very hard to land on logical explanation because three others share 100 percent plus of usage.
Curry's fantasy ratings averaged 30.1 points per game, 6.7 assists, 5.4 in rebounds and 2.1 steals last season. With this impressive array, Curry pegged usage rate of 16 percent. He also posted one thousand minutes all throughout.
Kevin Durant predicted to drop in ratings
The Rotisserie sets Kevin Durant in second with 28.2 in points, 7.6 rebounds, 5 assists and a steal per game. The remaining problem right now is the tendency to drop in value because of necessary sharing scheme for Steve Kerr's squad. Durant is still expected to finish within top ten.
Dwayne Wade benefits from Chicago crossover
The 35-year old veteran Dwyane Wade records 19 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Wade's inclusion in Fantasy is largely because of extended 74 games in 2015-2016 season. This is the best usage rate he enjoyed since five years ago.
On the drawback, Wade is also expected to fall from current standing. Miami Heat used him at staggering 31.6 percent because of no other option. The case might vary with the Bulls since there are two scorers in the team. Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler are sure to take a cut in Wade's exposure.
What about LeBron James?
LeBron James fell in the seventh spot last season in Fantasy rankings. Fans are pointing to the purported lost of athleticism and bad free-throws as the culprit. The best guess is that he will still land at top ten in Fantasy. Conservative estimates set him at number eight.
One scary version of predictions this season is the probability of upsurge from young prospects. These rookies are not yet included in valuation but some of them were already seen as contenders.
