'Far Cry Primal' News: PS4 Bundle And Deluxe Edition Announced

Barely a month from now, the much-awaited adventure and survival game "Far Cry Primal" is hitting shelves, arriving on February 23 for the current generation consoles, PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version will be arriving a week later on March 1. As expected, the game brings with it exclusive offers such a PS4 bundle and a Deluxe Edition.

According to a report in Gotta Be Mobile, the special edition PS4 bundle is a good deal for gamers who are planning to upgrade their consoles. The bundle includes a 1 TB PlayStation 4 in Jet Black and a matching Jet Black controller. A physical copy of the game also comes with the bundle. In another report in Tech Times, the bundle is reportedly available only in Europe, and in selected countries only. Pricing details are not yet available but as the launch approaches, this may surface anytime soon.

Aside from the console exclusive, the game will also have a Deluxe Edition which can be bought for $10 more than the price of the base game. The Deluxe Edition includes a Steelbook, a printed map of Oros, an audio CD of the game's soundtrack as well as additional game content such as The Legend of the Mammoth Mission Pack, Blood Shasti Club, four Skins, three Perks and bonus Bomb Pack.

"Far Cry Primal" is the fifth game in the "Far Cry" game franchise, where players get to play the role of a hunter named Takkar. Takkar is a Beastmaster who is able to control animals such as owls, bears and even sabertooth tigers. The game is set during prehistoric times, where the main weapons for survival are the ones a player needs to forge and their minds.

The game's environment is a vast one, which allows the player to explore while trying to survive by protecting oneself from predators and working with other tribe members to avoid extinction.
