'Fargo' Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers, Plot News: The Gerhardts Fall Apart

FX's hit crime drama TV series "Fargo" Season 2 never fails to deliver shocking developments. Last week saw the characters end up breaking the very thing they seemed to value the most: family.

In "Did You Do This? No, You Did It!," fans were left on the edge of their seats when Gerhardt son, Bear (Angus Sampson) drove his niece, Simone Gerhardt (Rachel Keller) deep into the woods. At first, it appeared that the issue surrounds the latter's betrayal to the family. However, as their confrontation went on, it seemed that the second son of Otto Gerhardt had a deep-seated anger towards his brother and father of Simone, Dodd (Jeffrey Donovan).

It can be assumed that Bear's decision to end Simone's life was driven by the thought that the elder sibling might have already been gone. However, Dodd turns out to be alive and was being held captive by Ed Blomquist (Jesse Plemons), as claimed by the latter towards the end of the episode.

Fans should expect further fallout of the whole organized crime family as Bear will try to cover up his deed and if he failed to do so, Dodd might have to kill him as well. It should be noted that it is yet to be confirmed if Simone has bitten the dust in that episode as the death wasn't actually shown.

More trouble is coming for the family, apparently. Ed managed to call on Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine) in his hotel. The latter had just murdered the "Undertaker" who was being sent by the Kansas City organization to finish off his job. The butcher claims to have the Gerhardt. The family themself received a call about Dodd and it is assumed to have come from Ed.

Is it Ed's plan for the KC boys and the Gerhardts to face off once and for all? Will it work?

Meanwhile, the synopsis from The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Loplop" says that Hanzee (Zahn McClarnon) will continue his search for the Blomquist while Ed "ends up in unfamiliar territory."

"Fargo" Season 2 airs Monday, Nov. 30 at 10 p.m. on FX.
