'Fargo' Season 2 Spoilers: Series Reboot Will Be Violent and Strange

As "Fargo" season 2 debuts tonight, fans are bound to see how feminism thrived in the 1970s setting of the series and how the story is violent, weird, and unique all at the same time.

"Fargo" season 2 will definitely give viewers an ample dose of strangeness and gore with a bloody case at a small diner in Minnesota. State cop Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) will team up with the town sheriff (Ted Danson) to try to solve the mysterious case, according to Film School Rejects.

By some weird twist of genius, "Fargo" season 2 was crafted in such a way that it is still linked to season 1. The main character is the father of Molly Solverson from the first season. Back then, Solverson had mentioned a massacre case that he had worked on.

Another connection between the two Fargo installments is the criminal element that drags an innocent family into a bloody mess. This time, it will be all about butcher Ed Blomquist (Jesse Plemons) and his wife Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) who will be involved in the crime at the diner, the report reveals.

Meanwhile, Dunst has given a sneak peek into her queer character in Fargo. In an interview with Telegraph, the seasoned actress described her character Peggy as a hairdresser who is weird in many ways, Carter Matt (CM) reports.

"She does a lot of weird things… She's got her own intentions, and she won't let anyone stop her, and it starts to get a little ugly," CM quotes Dunst's statement to the Telegraph.

Dunst explained that there is a part of Peggy that desires to be a plain housewife, but there is also another part that wants to push herself beyond her limits, the report adds.

The first episode of "Fargo" season 2 is titled "Waiting for Dutch," and the tone will definitely be enough to keep viewers hooked for the entire season.

"Fargo" season 2 premieres tonight at 10 p.m. on FX.
