Farrah Abraham Surgery: 'Teen Mom' Undergoes New Surgery to Remove Chin Implant

Farrah Abraham went back under the knife and in front of the cameras, only this time to have her chin implant removed. Abraham had the entire procedure, including her meeting with doctors, filmed for TV's "The Doctors."

Abraham had the initial surgery to insert the implant back in 2010, along with a nose job and breast enhancement. Fans were stunned by her decision and altered appearance, but Abraham adamantly defended her decision to have the three procedures. Then, in May 2013, she had another breast enhancement surgery, bringing the total count to four. Now, with this latest procedure, Abraham has had five surgeries in three years.

"Yes, it's true," Dr. Michael Salzhauer told Radar Online. "We had been emailing back and forth that she was uncomfortable with the size of the chin implant. It was the smallest implant they make, so she just wanted to take it out," he explained. "I thought she looked great to begin with!"

Yet Abraham was unhappy with her appearance and raved about the chin implant once she received it.

"I don't have to hate anything on my face ever again. I feel gorgeous!" she told In Touch.

"She'd been getting some flack from her mom and dad," Salzhauer added. "Look, a lot of times, especially when people are aware that you've had plastic surgery, people get self-conscious about it. I don't think she was unhappy, she just decided to take it out. That's one of the good things about chin implants: unlike nose jobs, they're reversible."

Abraham had a photo shoot of sorts all throughout the procedure, which she remained awake for, thanks to local anesthesia. It's unclear how she got involved with CBS' "The Doctors," but the episode is scheduled to air later this month.

"After you have a chin implant," Salzhauer noted, the tissues of the chin build a little scar tissue around the implant, so there's a little micro-boost of the chin. Plus, the skin is tighter. Farrah had a little bit of a roundness, kind of a double-chin going on before, but now everything is nice and tight. She's super happy with everything."
