'Fast and Furious 8' has a lot of things happening – spoilers ahead!

When "Fast and Furious 7" broke records at the box office, it was a no-brainer that "Fast and Furious 8" would follow. More members are being added to the cast. The "Fast and Furious" franchise always had a large ensemble cast and this latest installment will not be an exception.

The latest casting news is that Ruby Rose of "Orange is the new Black" will be joining Dominic's gang. With speculations and rumors being circulated in the web, we take a look at some things that will definitely be present in "Fast and Furious 8."

The location is going to be New York. Vin Diesel confirmed this when he explained that Kurt Russell's character, Mr. Nobody, in the film has New York connections.

Eva Mendes might make a comeback with her character, US Customs Agent Monica Fuentes. She might team up with Hobbs and Dominic to fight a villain from New York.

It's a forgone conclusion that The Rock will be back as Hobbs. Dwayne Johnson had single-handedly rescued the fifth installment and has, by now, assumed too much importance to let go.

Dwayne is also interested in making a spin-off movie based on his character from the "Fast and Furious" franchise. According to Digital Spy, he had talks with the studio and said, "We all are interested in it. I just had a big conversation with the studio. So we'll see. I still think for me personally we've created a little bit of space for him in 7 and the gauge is set for what the audience will want."

Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw will be back. His character is too interesting to be just cast away. In the previous film, Hobbs puts Deckard in a high-security prison. His brother is still in hospital. So maybe Deckard does a jail break and takes on Hobbs again.

There are rumors that James Wan may take up from Justin Lin. But James Wan himself says that Justin Lin is the man for the job and also hints that "Fast and Furious 8" might end the franchise. He tells The Daily Beast, "I think it's a great idea for Justin [Lin] to come back. Justin had such a big part to do with where this series has gone. It would be amazing if he closed it out."

With all these exciting things happening in "Fast and Furious 8," it would be a pity if the franchise ended. The expected release date is April 14, 2017. Till then, we will keep you posted on the latest news from "Fast and Furious 8"
