'Fast and Furious 8' News, Cast, Spoilers: Next Film Will Return to Its Roots

The success of "Fast and Furious 7" can definitely be attributed to Paul Walker's death. Initially planned to be the last of the franchise, it seemed to have triggered a follow-up movie that will be dedicated to Walker, taking into consideration the late actor's wishes, in particular the return of the franchise to its roots.

According to Master Herald, Michelle Rodriguez, who portrays Letty Ortiz in the movie franchise, previously shared how Walker complained about the use of too much CGI and sepcial effects especially in the latter movies. Due to this, the 8th film installment will then be going back to its origins of car racing. This vision will be a tribute to its late leading man, Paul Walker. Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic "Dom" Toretto, also later on confirmed this news when he appeared in "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" and talked about the plot being developed for "Fast and Furious 8." According to the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor, the next movie can be expected to have a lot of similiarities with the first one.

Another news about the next movie that is making headlines is the rumor that Paul Walker will appear once again in it. As many fans of the franchise are aware of, Walker's death during the filming of the last film was a blow to the production, and although many mourned for his death, the question of how he will appear in seventh installment was also the first thing on everyone's mind. Fortunately, thanks to CGI and Walker's body doubles, including his own brother, they were able to recreate him until his ultimate parting scene with Diesel. It is reported by Car Buzz that Walker will appear once again using the same method; however, he might only be seen in the beginning of the story and not have a major part unlike in the previous films.
