Eastwood recently shared his sentiments regarding his upcoming involvement in the upcoming film. According to People's Choice, he said, "It's hard to put into words how excited I am for the next Fast & Furious. To me, the series is so much more than just a franchise. It's a legacy. These great actors who have been in it together for so long have become a family. I absolutely can't wait to join it."

Aside from Eastwood, there is recent news suggesting that a fan favorite actor will be involved in the film. It was said that Tim Hiddleston could be joining the "Fast and Furious 8" crew.

The actor recently spoke to The Rolling Stone about his interest in the franchise. He said, "In fact, I was just telling someone how much I love Furious 7. And they said, 'Are you kidding me?'. Dwayne Johnson flexes his arm, breaks open his cast and then says, 'Daddy has to go to work' - if you don't love that, I don't know how I can appreciate you as a human being."

This has created rumors that Hiddleston could be portraying the villain for the upcoming film. However, there has yet to be any news confirming the matter.

"Fast and Furious 8" is expected to hit theaters this Apr. 14, 2017.
