'Fast and Furious 7' Release Date, Cast News: Azalea Cameo Revealed By Vin Diesel
It has been a tough year for the "Fast and Furious" family. In November of last year, they lost Paul Walker to a car accident. Despite the tough times, the Fast and Furious cast and crew managed to get by, and "Fast & Furious 7" will be released on April 3, 2015.
Paul Walker played an integral role in the film so filling in the void his passing left was the greatest challenge the team had to face. Writers needed to find ways to work on the plot in order to adjust the whole movie to the loss as Walker's accident occurred before his shoots were completed.
On top of the plot getting tweaked, Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, had to take his place in shots as there are parts where the plot, even when tweaked, needed Brian O'Conner in the frame.

One more cast update came from Vin Diesel in a SkyRock FM interview.
In the interview, the actor was asked to pick one song that he'd most likely dance to. The choices were Jason Derulo's "Wiggle," Azalea's "Fancy" or Ariana Grande's "Problem," -- the actor picked Azalea's "Fancy."
"I guess you'll be the first person that knows this -- we casted her in Fast & Furious 7. She has a cameo in Fast & Furious 7," he said.
This means while there were rumors that Azalea would replace Walker, she will only have an small appearance in "Fast and Furious 7."
